About the Port of Jacksonville (Cruise Port Information)
Two passenger cruise lines are offering service from Jacksonville: Celebrity Cruises and Carnival Cruise Lines. Ships from both cruise lines depart from the same building, the JAXPORT Cruise Terminal.
Celebrity Cruises Celebrity Cruises 1,375-guest ship Zenith offers 11-14 day cruises from October 27, 2003 through April 11, 2004, and another series of cruises from October 2004 through April 2005.
Depending upon the cruise, the Zenith will stop in San Juan (Puerto Rico); St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands); Basseterre, (St. Kitts); St. George's, (Grenada); Bridgetown, (Barbados); Phillipsburg, (St. Maarten); Tortola (British Virgin Islands); CocoCay, (Bahamas) Costa Maya, (Mexico); Roatan, (Honduras); Puerto Limon (Costa Rica); Colon (Panama); Georgetown (Grand Cayman); Montego Bay and Ocho Rios (Jamaica); Labadee (Hispanola).
Carnival Cruise Lines From Feb. 27, 2004 through April 17, 2004, Carnival's 2,124-passenger ship Miracle will offer three-day cruises to Freeport, five-day cruises to Key West and Nassau, and six-day cruises to Cozumel and Costa Maya (Mexico). (The six-day cruise of March 6 will call at Playa del Carmen instead of Costa Maya.) The Miracle then will leave Jacksonville.
